As for the Launch Control/VDC...how does a new GT-R buyer know/verify that a salesman or tech hasn't switched VDC off and used LC prior to the purchase? Who's to say that someone at the dealer wanted to test out LC for themselves and voided the warranty before the car is sold to someone? That would really suck (and potentially be hard to prove) should a new GT-R owner take his car in for a damaged transmission only to find out the warranty is void because Nissan found an instance of LC being invoked. I wonder if the black box timestamps these instances? Regardless, enjoy the car. If you ever come down to SoCal with it, I'd love to see it and perhaps bribe you for a ride in it. Dave
